Qualification for finals
The Global Grand Test is an intense, high-stakes qualification round featuring dynamic questions that evolve with current environmental challenges. Face 300 strategically designed questions across five learning areas: Atmosphere, Water, Land, Biodiversity, and Human Activity. Questions adapt to real-world environmental events, making each competition unique and challenging. Only the most agile minds advance to the International Final Round.

- 120 minutes total duration
- 5 reading materials with 100 questions in total
- Each material includes 15 multiple-choice questions and 5 true/false questions
- 2 points per question, 200 points in total
Advanced Thinking
- 180 minutes total duration
- 1 reading material with 5 open-response questions
- 40 points per question
- 200 points in total
Eligibility & Requirements
Eligible Participants
- Currently enrolled high school students (grades 9-12)
- Students graduating in 2027 or later
- Students with passion for environmental science
- Access to stable internet connection
- School or institutional advisor support

Registration requires a school or institutional advisor. Connect with a teacher or counselor who can support your participation.
Complete Online Registration
Your advisor will register you through the official IEnvO website. Ensure all personal and academic information is accurate.

School Team Awards in the Global Grand Test
Starting in 2026, we are introducing a new international recognition system for schools and institutions that organize their students to participate in the Global Grand Test.
Recognition Recipients
This recognition will be given to the school, the advisors, and the top 6 students representing their school.
Eligibility
Schools and institutions with 6 or more students participating in the Global Round are eligible for School Team Awards
Scoring System
Team scores are calculated using the top 6 students' scores from each school

The top 30 schools worldwide will receive internationally ranked awards
